Our History
Vernon McClure founded Main Street Homes in 1996 with one goal in mind- to Build New Homes with Quality and Style. We build homes in Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent and Goochland Counties. We’ve built approximately 350 homes annually.
Our Developments and Communities
Main Street Homes developed Aston in Powhatan, Westerleigh in Moseley and Cosby Village in Chesterfield, and we have built new homes in well-known new home communities that include Hallsley, Collington, Harpers Mill, Patriots Landing, Winterfield Park, Tarrington and The Highlands. Our Awards
In 2015, 2017-2021, 2023 and 2024 Main Street Homes won Best Homebuilder for the Richmond Times-Dispatch The Best Contest. Main Street Homes is proud to be recognized as an Energy Star Partner of the Year for 2019-2024, a national award given by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). We’ve been an Energy Star Market Leader for over 5 years, meaning we’ve built the most Energy Star homes in RVA annually. Additional industry accolades include multiple awards for Homebuilder of the Year of 150+ Homes by the Home Building Association of Richmond, and over 120 Parade of Homes Awards awarded by HBAR since 1996.
